PUZZLE ALARM CLOCK - HOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED

When we were teenagers we’d sleep until noon (assuming our parents didn’t try to wrangle us out of bed earlier).  No reasonable person would start their day before 2 PM if they didn’t have to, right?  Our parents would say they were once like us and we’d stomp out of the room for thinking we’d ever be anything like them.

We thought we’d never yell at our kids… and now we do.  We thought we’d never care how messy the house got… and now we find ourselves cleaning every day.  We thought we’d never get tired of partying until 4 AM and sleeping until noon… we were wrong about that too.  Sleeping past 9 AM is almost impossible now.  It only happens on the rare occasion that we stayed out until midnight, which, as you know, is super late.  We got older.  We started acting like our parents.  We got over it and moved on.  

But one thing that hasn’t changed is our ability to force ourselves out of bed.  On a weekend we have no trouble popping out of bed before 8 AM, in fact we’re quite chipper as we look forward to an entire day in front of us.  But the weekdays are a different story.  Somehow, getting up before 8 is a struggle.  Once we’ve had our eyes open for more than a minute we’re fine but it’s that initial push that seems almost impossible.

TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED FAUCET LIGHT - THE FUN IN FUNCTIONAL!

We love selling our crazy fun products at PerpetualKid.com!  Sometimes we focus so much on the fun that we forget all about the functional side of our products and every once in a while it’s nice to get a heartwarming reminder.

The other day our customer service department received a very nice letter from a lady raising her disabled child.  She had recently purchased several of our Temperature Controlled Faucet Lights, enough for every faucet in her home.  Most customers purchase this product because it’s just plain cool but she had a completely different motive.

Her son is able to reach the faucets and understands hot and cold but unfortunately sometimes he confuses the hot and cold handles.  By placing the Temperature Controlled Faucet Lights on all of her faucets she has taught her son to wait for the color before putting his bare hands under the water stream.  Blue (cold) is good while red (hot) is not.   

We just love hearing stories like this and we think it’s definitely one worth sharing.  The Temperature Controlled Faucet Light is a fun product for most of us but for those of us dealing with small children or special circumstances it can be a very useful tool as well!

Everyone has a nervous habit, something that they do when they’re bored, frustrated or preoccupied with their thoughts.  We’ve hear d of some pretty crazy ones but most of the time it’s something as simple as biting your nails.

GRRRR it’s cold in here!  It’s been 80°+ for weeks now – we’ve been suffering the humidity that comes with living on the East Coast and as we do every summer we’ve grown used to it.  We have a relaxed dress code in the office so employees are wearing shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops in an effort to remain cool.  So what’s the problem?  THE PROBLEM is today is not 80°, today is a surprising 60° and overcast.
