So we’re going to let you in on a little secret, we don’t talk about it often because of the crazy looks we get when we do a little truth-talking. Here’s the deal, but don’t tell anyone, Lost is NOT the only show that airs on Wednesday nights. Shhh… stop crying, your hysteria is not normal. Put down that heavy object and just sit down for a minute.
We’re not taking Lost away from you; we’re just trying to explain there are other options. And now with the new fancy TiVo and DVR tool you can record shows that are even on DURING Lost. We know this is a hard thing for you to accept, it’s a lot to take in and we understand if you need a minute. Just remember to breathe in and out.
Now that you’re calm we’re going to tell you about a little show we watch on Wednesday nights – shhh it’s going to be okay – called Top Chef. Addicts! We love it. (Do you really think that screaming at us is going to change our minds? Honestly!) Last night’s episode was cut throat and we were on pins and needles to find out who the final four would be. To be honest we like all of the finalists so no one was too disappointed at the outcome.
Early in the show the group was presented with their Quickfire Challenge where chef Wiley Dufresne asked them to get creative with eggs. Our favorite was Carla’s green eggs and ham, but we were fascinated by watching the 5 of them try to make eggs something they’re naturally not. It really is amazing what people can do with food!
We think the perfect addition to that Quickfire challenge would’ve been the I’m Not A Paper Towel dish towel. These chefs move at record pace in that Top Chef kitchen and there is not a lot of time for questions. You don’t have to question anything with this towel; it tells you right from the start that it is NOT a paper towel! There are no room for questions and you are free to worry about other things… like did you just use salt or sugar in that batter?
