One of our Perpetual Kid® staffers recently bought herself a brand new Kindle and ever since all we ever hear about is how awesome it is.  She didn’t get the supersized one, just the regular old Kindle 2 and I swear she takes it everywhere.  What’s even worse is that she has an iPhone and also discovered the Kindle iPhone app… now it’s Kindle this… Kindle that… ENOUGH WITH THE KINDLE!

The Daily Mood Flip Chart - Mandatory Mood Change Game!

 

When The Daily Mood Flip Chart first arrived at our home base, they began to pop up on desks everywhere.  We would walk by each other and take note of whatever mood they might be in.  While it was helpful it’s not nearly as fun as the new game we’ve come up with!

We like to call our new game MANDATORY MOOD CHANGE!  If one of us is fed up with a co-worker’s cheeriness or can’t stand the gloom and doom – we change their chart.  Assuming they follow the rules, they are forced to reflect that mood until their chart is changed again (with reason - PK cannot smooth things over with your boss if you take it too far).  No changing it yourself!  That’s cheating!

With all the daily have-to-dos and all the good television coming back it’s hard to find time to curl up with a good book for hours on end.  But with the cold weather and the weekend rolling in it’s the perfect chance to take some time to read that book you’ve been talking about for a while now.  You know which one we’re talking about – that one that you bought a year ago and it’s been sitting at the top of your very large unread pile.
