One of the worst questions we get asked around the office by our co-workers is “what do you want to do for lunch?” Apparently “food” is not a good enough answer. We’ve also discovered that “I don’t care” isn’t a very popular answer either. In fact that one might get something thrown at you. The worst is when we actually make a real decision and then told that our answer is wrong? WRONG?! Weren’t you just asking us for our opinion? How can that be wrong?
Just the other day one of our co-workers asked us if we’d like to go to happy hour. We thought it was a great idea! There, decision made. But wait… there’s more. The same co-worker then asked us where we’d like to go… this is where things got a little crazy. After spending 30 minutes (29 minutes more than what should have been spent on this conversation) we picked a place that we all seemed happy with. We reported back our suggestion… and then it was shot down for a poor lack of outdoor seating. WHAT?! No one said that outdoor seating had to be an option… back to the drawing board… for another 30 minutes.
Needless to say we finally decided on a location and happy hour ended up being a lot of fun but the whole experience would’ve been ten times easier if we’d only had the MAKE A DECISION NOTEPAD. We could’ve easily shared our dilemma, our worst case scenario, best case scenario, our gut feelings and the pros and cons of said decision. Genius! The MAKE A DECISION NOTEPAD is the perfect device to make an actual decision and save yourself some time in the process!
