There are certain trendy clubs in cities like L.A., Chicago, NYC and D.C. where a strict dress code is enforced. No sneakers, no t-shirts, no shorts, no flip-flops… the list of what you can wear is far shorter than the list of what you can’t. Some really enjoy the exclusivity of it while others think it’s absurd, regardless, it is what it is.
We expect such things from high end restaurants and clubs in the city but not from local suburban bars. Imagine our surprise when a friend had a birthday party in a local bar and half of us couldn’t get in because we didn’t adhere to the strict dress code. Well of course we didn’t adhere; we didn’t even know there was one! You know the kind of bar we were at, the local neighborhood watering hole, not a dive bar but nothing fancy either. Why would we ever think there was a dress code?! Why would a bar this far out in suburbia ever consider themselves exclusive enough to have a dress code? Needless to say we headed over to a sports bar and missed the birthday party entirely.
If we had the Dress for Dinner Napkins with us, maybe we could’ve slipped right past the bouncer. Maybe not. These napkins are too fun and we enjoy using them to mock crazy dress codes. Each pack comes with 20 quality Dress for Dinner Napkins displaying an assortment of 4 neck tie prints. Make your family and friends “Dress” for dinner with the Dress for Dinner Napkins!
