Spring is here and wedding season begins.  Weddings can be a blast, the dancing, the drinking (or not), the seeing people you haven’t seen in a while and of course the celebration of the newly wedded couple.  Weddings = good times (usually)!

If you grew up being the high school victim you might be embarrassed by some of the things that happened to you but most likely they weren’t your fault.  But if you grew up as the bully, well you have to live with the shame of what you did LONG after school is over.

There is nothing worse for a hypochondriac than a world wide pandemic.  Right now the much noted Swine Flu seems to be everywhere in the media.  Hypochondriacs are flocking to the Emergency Room.  So, the question is, is it better to know or not to know?

Are you one of those people that gets a scratchy throat and within minutes you’re calling an ambulance?  Do you get a paper cut and imagine that you’ll bleed out all over the floor?  Do you hear about a disease like the West Nile Virus and then adjust your “symptoms” to fit those of the disease?  If so, are you ignoring the media right now?  And if knowledge is power, should we know as much as possible?  WHAT IS THE RIGHT ANSWER?

The answer is… drum roll… we don’t know.  Hey, we’re not doctors – how are we supposed to know if that scratchy throat is your imagination or not?!  What we CAN suggest is soup.  Soup may not be the cure-all but it certainly makes us feel better when we’re ill.

CLOCKY - CATCH HIM IF YOU CAN!

Every night we go to bed with the best of intentions.  We set our alarms for the earliest we want to wake up, and we plan for all the great things we can do in the morning.  We’ll hit the gym or take the dog for an extra long walk.  Maybe we’ll hang with the kids before school or stop off and grab donuts for our co-workers on our way to work.  We plan to get into the office a good hour before we even need to be there.  We always have the best of intentions.

But here’s how the morning really goes.  The alarm goes off and we hit snooze over and over again.  The kids are screaming because they want breakfast and they’re already late to school. (Ok. Maybe they’re not upset about THAT, but we are!)  The dog is about to pee by the door because we haven’t let him outside yet.  The gym is a bust and forget about breakfast for our co-workers - they can get their own donuts!  We finally get to work a good 20 minutes after we absolutely needed to be there for the morning meeting.

We NEED Clocky.  Set him at night and prepare to actually get out of bed on time.  In the morning, you can hit snooze once but don’t expect to hit it again - Clocky will leave you in his dust!  He’ll wheel around your room and if you don’t get out of bed to catch him, that alarm is NOT TURNING OFF!  NOTE: We are not responsible if you choose to get back INTO bed once you find him.
