Many of us cat and dog people wish we could offer a nice big fenced in back yard for our pets to go wild in… unfortunately we live in town homes or apartments with minimal space and no back yard. We’re reduced to walking them on leashes (oh we’ve seen you all out walking your cats!) and playing with them in confined spaces. Hopefully, when you chose your pet you decided on a breed (or shelter animal) that does well in smaller indoor spaces.
Some of our pets are lucky to have companions but others are only childr… pets. With only one pet in the house, we feel guilty about going to work or going out in the evening, leaving the dog or cat all by their lonesome for so many hours. So we give them toys and hope they’ll forget we’re not there.
